Note:
- brakes on ACS 64 are much less sensitive than the F40PH and CTC cab car on NE Corridor - Boston
- wheel spin seems to occur on more than 45% acceleration
- Insert reverser
- Reverser to forward
- Set brake mode to "passenger" - switch next to brake lever
- Open doors
- On panel behind driver, switch on alerter, ATC and ACES
- Close doors
- Headlights on dim - switch on RHS of desk
- Apply suppression braking (62%) and acknowledge within 8 seconds
- Press and hold battery button on left end of rear panel
- Go to control panel in corridor
- Select rear pantograph on panel at left hand end on your right
- Return to cab and sit in seat
- Insert reverser and then select neutral
- Press pantograph up button on left hand side
- MCB switch to closed on left hand side
- Stand up and face rear panel
- Press HEP starter for 5 seconds on rear panel
- Return to your seat
- Turn on headlamps - RHS
- Turn on ditchlights - RHS
- Brake mode to passenger - near brake handle
- Unlock doors
