- Suppression braking requires 65% brake application
- All safety sytems and alerter acknowledged with num enter key
- Activate the cab by turning the switch on panel behind driver's seat
- Sit in driver's seat and move reverser handle to in, then neutral
- Turn on safety systems - switches in corridor near external entry door
- Sit back in driver's seat
- Put brakes in passenger mode - rotary switch on RHS of desk
- Adjust brakes from full on to about 40% to allow them to pump up
- Turn on headlight and ditch lights - switches RHS of desk
- Release parking brake - rotary switch to right of ADU
- Set cruise control - to left of throttle to set speed (use mouse)
- Release brakes
- Reverser to forward
- Apply throttle
NB - when on cruise control and you have to brake for any reason, a power lock will occur. You need to set throttle back to zero then power back up to continue.
- Trains stops
- Throttle to zero
- That should cancel alerter and release brakes
- Drive off
There was a bug where spurious short section speed drops caused the Overspeed and Supression lights to stay on until they get the proper speed from the next signal. You can ignore.
