- Insert master key and turn to on - Left of TBC.
- Reverser to neutral - left of master key.
- Headlights to dim - below left side window.
- Turn on ECTS, AWS, TWPS/AWS, Vigilance, DSD and BR-ATP systems - panel behind driver's seat
- (Walk to guards panel to ensure all doors are closed.)
- Reverser to forward.
- Drive away.
Power selection mode is buggy when 10 car or longer when units are coupled together.
Electric to Diesel
- Reverser to neutral.
- Press and hold engine start button for 10 seconds or until your hear running - Next to phone RHS of console.
- Press diesel button - next to start button.
- If the diesel start process doesn't work in a coupled unit, go to the other end of the train and try again.
