• Turn on banking com
• Turn on gen field switch - left console switch
• Insert reverser
• Turn on headlights - rotary switch below brake handles
• Cut in brakes and set independent to lead using MFC
• Fully release automatic brake - wait for rear of train pressure to reach 80lb
• Go to rear panel behind driver and turn on appropriate systems
• Set reverser to forward
• Apply a small amount of throttle
• Release independent brake
