- Red = Carre
- Dark signal = stop
- Purple = shunt / siding stop signal
- Red bar sign = stop (same as hand signal to protect siding)
- Yellow bar sign = less track than expected to exit signal on a siding

Speed sign shapes are the same on trackside signs and signals.
- Announcement signs are lozenge shaped (diamond) - and need to be acknowledged on the crocodile
- Pancarte d'action Z signs indicates start of speed limit announced earier
- Execution sign - square black on white speed sign
White lights above signals indicate number of track from the left most you are to be switched to. Diverging tracks may have a speed limit appied as well.
- Start of TVM section is announced by trackside “CAB” signs - last one being white on black
- End of TVM section is “CAB” in white on black with a diagonal stripe
- Flashing speed with white diamonds - reducing speed limit ahead at next block marker
- White speed on black background = current speed limit
- Black speed on white diamonds = reduce to this speed by next block marker
- Flashing speeds on diamonds are warning indications that the speed limit after the next block marker will also be reduced.
- Speed on green with no diamonds = current speed limit is full line speed
- 80 or 170 flashing on white diamonds = next signal section will be stop
- Black 000 in white diamond on red = stop at next section flag
- 3 red squares = stop now
If you don’t adhere to signed speeds, you may get a penalty brake, but there is generous leeway.
