- Alerter will sound after no driving input for 60 seconds. Cancell with Q
-
Alerter will sound on signal requiring reduced speed:
- Cab signal will update
- If train is within speed, just need to acknowledge with "Q"
- If above speed, set throttle to 0, apply a minimum of 40% brakes and acknowledge within 8 seconds
- If braking is reduced while above speed, you will need to repeat this process
- In cab unit displays signal but not speed as loco drivers are expected to know speed limits.
- Freight locos have alerter, but will not apply brakes.
- The alarm will sound if you are above speed and will not stop until you slow down.
The same rules apply with signalling as above.
- Shift ~ applies suppression brakes immediately.
- Alerter goes off and new speed shown on cab display.
- Reduce speed controller to 0.
- Shift ~ to apply suppression braking
- Q to cancell alarm and prevent emergency braking.
