Reconfigured Home Theatre in Rear Room

To make the new rear tv more like the one in the front room, I removed all HDMI connections from the amplifier. I had intended to use HDMI arc from the TV to the amp, but found out that the Pioneer VSX-520 does not do HDMI arc, so I have to use the digital optical input instead. I configured this on the amp using the signal select button to used the optical 1 input when on TV/Sat.

When I re-plugged in the Telstra T-Box, it would not power up again despite working fine last night. I ditched this and set up dad's old Panasonic PVR. This and the Kogan mini PC are HDMI inputs on the TV.

Now you don't have to muck around with inputs on the amp to watch TV or DVD etc. Just leave it on TV/Sat and all sound goes to that from the TV.

Moved the Kogan DVD player to the front room as Anna had reported that the one there occasionally shuts down or freezes. Dad's old PVR has a DVD player in it so I don't need one out the back.
