I bought an M.2 SSD enclousure from Center Com to use and it was faulty. The card had to be forced into it and when plugged in to the USB port, the blue drive light came on, but the drive was not able to be initialled and came up with a hardware error. [EDIT] Centercom advised it is a SATA enclosure and my drive is PCIe. I thought they were interchangebable but it seems not...

My computer is not able to run NVMe at gen 4 speeds as it has a gen 10 i5 processer and NVMe gen 4 speed needs a gen 11 processor.

Now I have plenty of spare room on my drive.
