Initially lf wouldn't work properly. At some stage I set GOPATH to be /meta/b/bradmac and it started to work work correctly. mimeopen commands would not work correctly and that was fixed by creating ~/.local/share/applications. Set OPENER to be mimeopen.

Everything seems to work except opening files using l or right arrow key. Using o or O works.
