Yazi is difficult to configure and and I could not get any plugins to work.
- LF for Linux is good! Does text previews nicely and it's fairly easy to configure.
- LF on Windows is not so good. You have to rewrite pv.sh to work on windows.
- Yazi is faily new it seems. A lot of the plugins on Github are out of date and don't work.
- Yazi on Windows is pretty good, but the pdf previewer does not work and text based previews are faily basic compared to LF.
So the conclusion is: LF on Linux, Yazi on Windows.
UPDATE 29/01/2025 - Configured LF on Windows and it's pretty good. Bye bye Yazi!
