I intended to learn Emacs as a brain exercise tool. Over three or four days, I got comfortable with keyboard navigation, editing, cutting, pasting, setting marks, etc. etc.

I started looking at org-mode to replicate Vimwiki. I found that I needed to do a LOT of research and configuring to get that to work. Org-mode works a lot like Vimwiki.

I have decided rather than use Emacs as a brain development project which really wastes a lot of time to get Emacs to be more like vim, I'll stick with Vim and learn something else.

I started looking at Lua a while ago. It think I'll continue with that.
